DIY Nursing tanks and bra

When I first entered the "maternity world", it was deja vu of when I was planning my wedding 5+ years ago. Prices were inflated, just like anything labeled "bridal".

Enter the $5 nursing tank. Of course, you don't have to spend anything if you already have a tank top that you are willing to cut up. I found tank tops at H&M two for $10.

For the back of the tank top, some people just cut the back straps off completely. I made little loops to slip onto the bra straps since I bought extra large tank tops, and didn't want the tank top to sag in the back.

This is a picture on pinterest that shows how everything fits together (source unknown):

Make your own, or, you can buy the tank at Undercover Mama for $25!

3- Nursing tank that does NOT attach to a nursing bra

You'll need the snaps for this project. The pink one was the first one I made, the gray one was the second one. I found it easier to cut the straps up higher on the tank top (this way, you only need to use one snap, instead of two)
